The eNVD app — creating declarations in the yard
The most common worry about going digital is the one that matters most on-farm: there's no phone signal in the yard. Good news — the Integrity Systems eNVD app is built for exactly that. You can create and transfer a consignment completely offline, and it syncs when you're back in range. Here's how it works, start to finish.
Quick answers
- Does it work offline? Yes — you can create and transfer consignments with no signal. It syncs to the server next time the app is opened with internet.
- Where do I get it? The official eNVD app from Integrity Systems, on the App Store and Google Play. First download and login need internet.
- Do I need a login? Yes, a MyMLA account to create consignments. Transporters can use guest mode without one.
- How does the next party get it? Digitally through their MyMLA/NLIS account, by QR transfer, or printed for hand completion.
- What does it cost? Nothing — free for LPA-accredited producers.
Yes, it works with no signal
This is the headline feature for anyone drafting stock a long way from a tower. In ISC's own words: "Digital consignments can be created and transferred while offline. The app needs to be opened with internet connectivity to sync the submitted consignment to the eNVD server and be visible to the receiver."
In practice that means you complete the declaration at the race, hand it to the transporter or receiver on the spot, and the record uploads itself the next time your phone has a bar or two — back at the house, in town, or wherever you next open the app online. Nothing is lost while you're out of range.
The one thing that does need internet is the very first setup: downloading the app and logging in with MyMLA. Do that before you head out, and the yard work runs offline from then on.
Creating a consignment, step by step
- Log in with MyMLA. The app is tied to your MyMLA account, which links your LPA and NLIS. Your LPA accreditation is what gives the declaration its weight.
- Start a new consignment. The app prompts you to pick which forms to include based on your accreditation — the LPA cattle NVD, and where relevant an MSA declaration, health declaration, or feedlot form.
- Fill in the details. Origin PIC, destination, description of the stock, and the food-safety and treatment questions — the same declaration as the paper form, with validation that catches gaps as you go.
- Sign and submit. The consignment is created and ready to hand on. Offline, it's held on the device; online, it syncs to the eNVD server.

Getting it to the transporter and receiver
A consignment usually passes through more than one set of hands. The app handles each without everyone needing a login:
- Transporter — guest mode. The carrier can fill in their section in guest mode and pass copies along using the QR feature, no MyMLA account required.
- Receiver — digital. Buyers, saleyards and processors registered with MyMLA access the consignment through their account. Since 1 March 2024, receivers generally need a MyMLA account linked to their NLIS account to view eNVDs.
- Fallback — print it. If anyone in the chain can't go digital, the eNVD can be printed and provided for hand completion. No consignment gets stuck because one party is offline.
Common snags
- "It's not syncing." The app only uploads when it's opened with a live connection. Open it once you're back in range and give it a moment — a submitted-but-offline consignment isn't visible to the receiver until it syncs.
- "The receiver can't see it." Usually the sync above, or the receiver hasn't linked their MyMLA to NLIS. Confirm both before assuming something's broken.
- "I need to fix a detail after submitting." A short editing window applies to certain fields after submission — correct it promptly rather than re-creating the whole consignment.
- "First login won't load in the yard." Expected — download and log in on wi-fi or in town before you start; offline mode only works once you're set up.
Where Tagline fits
Tagline now creates and submits eNVDs directly through the Integrity Systems platform, drawing on the animals, treatments and withholding periods already recorded on the line — so the consignment is backed by your real records instead of re-typed in the yard. Add every head to the consignment in one go, and at the yards the truck driver completes and signs his own part. Whether you lodge through Tagline or the ISC app, it's right the first time.
