Reconciliation.
The commercially differentiated feature. Every RFID across both your farm records and the NLIS database is classified in real time: animals you have that NLIS doesn't know about, tags NLIS shows on your PIC that you can't account for, and records where origin PIC or transfer date don't match. Kill sheet ingestion.
Upload kill sheets directly from Nolan Meats, Bindaree, JBS, or Whyalla. Each row is matched to the animal record by RFID, lifecycle status updated to sold_for_slaughter, and the kill date, $/kg, and carcase data attached to the audit log. Feedlot-routed animals transition correctly from transferred_off without a date mismatch.
NLIS Actions workflow.
Every tag that needs a lodgement, every EU-deceased flag, every device the NLIS database returns "not authorised" — tracked in one workflow. Add dated notes, mark resolved, export pending actions to a spreadsheet for the NLIS helpdesk. Auto-resolves when the next Device Query Import confirms the device is authorised.
Tag rules, enforced.
One animal, one active tag, one period — enforced at the database level, not in a policy document. Lost tags are recorded with an explicit reason. Replacements are atomic: the old assignment ends and the new one begins in the same transaction. Bulk re-tagging is all-or-nothing.
Device Query import.
Import your NLIS Device Query CSV to sync the current state of all devices on your PIC. EU and LT status updated per device. Unrecognised RFIDs automatically raise an NLIS Action. Triggers a reconciliation refresh so the delta is waiting when you open the Reconciliation Sheet.
Satellite paddock

Draw your paddock boundaries on Esri ArcGIS World Imagery satellite tiles — the clearest rural Australian imagery available, chosen after testing and rejecting Mapbox Satellite. Add a paddock, name it, assign animals. Boundaries persist and drive the paddock event log, the mob movement workflow, and the reconciliation sheet's paddock-confirmation signal.

Paddock event history.
Append-only log per paddock: sown, fertilised, sprayed, cultivated, mowed, out-of-use, back-in-use. Each event records product, rate, and date. Current pasture, last sown date, and last fertilised product are derived automatically and shown in the paddock list. Bulk-apply an event across multiple paddocks at once.

Treatment & WHP tracking.
Record treatments against individual animals or mobs. Withholding period (WHP) and export slaughter interval (ESI) computed automatically from treatment date and product. WHP blocker wired into the Record Sale flow — the system won't let you sell an animal that's still in its withholding window.
NVD & exit tracking.
Every animal that leaves the property — sale, transfer, or kill — carries a National Vendor Declaration (paper or eNVD) and an exit event record. NVD numbers stored against each consignment for LPA audit compliance. Direct-to-abattoir and feedlot-routed exits are handled as distinct lifecycle paths, so date mismatches never occur.
Bulk operations.
Select any number of animals from the register and act on all of them: record deaths, update sex / breed / birth year / tag colour / notes / origin PIC in a single transaction, or move to a new paddock. All bulk writes go through the same server-side constraints as single-animal operations.
Offline. Syncs later.
Dead zone at the back paddock? Tag, weigh, treat — events queue on your phone. Back in range, everything reconciles against the server-side source of truth. Server-side rule enforcement means no offline session can produce data that violates the tag or livestock constraints.
EBV import &
bull selection.
Import estimated breeding values for any animal from a CSV paste. Sixteen BREEDPLAN traits across two sections — growth, carcase, fertility, maternal. Breed average comparisons and accuracy colour-coding per trait. Bull selection panel lets you filter by society, accuracy, and selection preset (Heifer Safe / Heavy Growth / Carcase Premium), then compare up to four bulls side-by-side with best-value highlighting.

Performance recording.
Record birth weight, 200-day, 400-day, 600-day, yearling, mature, joining, and pre-sale weights per animal. Body scans: EMA, rib fat, rump fat, IMF, and scrotal circumference for bulls. Bulk weight entry for mob weighing sessions. All data maps directly to BREEDPLAN's required columns on export.
Joining management & sire suggestion.
Record bull × paddock matings with start and end dates. Calving window derived automatically at 283 days ± 14 days. When you open a calf record and set the dam, the system suggests the probable sire based on the dam's paddock history and joining overlap — confidence-scored as high or low.
BREEDPLAN export.
One click generates an ABRI-compatible 28-column CSV ready to submit to your breed society. Contemporary groups auto-derived from birth year and paddock code. Validation panel shows per-animal readiness — weight count, scan completeness, issues list — before you export. No manual spreadsheet formatting.
Bull Sale Catalogue. In dev
Parse a bull sale catalogue PDF, filter by EBV ranges and selection presets, star a shortlist, compare finalists side-by-side, and register purchased bulls directly into your herd. Currently in development — available to early access customers on request.
